PHP Software Engineer (m/f)

Metaways provides a wide spectrum of internet services and supports well-known clients like Kraft Food International with customized solutions for, e.g shop systems, customer-specific application development, hosting and content management.
We are especially proud of our open source projects Arcavias and Tine2.0 which are on the cutting edge of software engineering and use the latest techniques for building an unmatched user experience. Due to our excellent perspective, we are looking for you, to extend our development team in Hamburg's Speicherstadt.

Your resposibilities:

• Conception, development and implementation of object-oriented web applications
• Analysis and conception of projects in cooperation with the customer
• Implementation of sub-projects in PHP5 – project management and organisation
• Further development and integration of new and innovative e-commerce systems using state-of-the-art technologies
• Quality assurance, maintenance and documentation for existing and new software components

Your profile:

• A degree in computer science or similar education
• Excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming with PHP5
• Good knowledge of JavaScript, XHTML, XML, AJAX
• Familiar with working in an Unix environment
• Experience with scalability and performance are a big plus
• You have communication skills in German and English
• If you are experienced with TYPO3, ExtJS or design patterns, then you certainly have found the right job
