Transparency: How Metaways Uses AI

We do use AI applications, we naturally want to expand our competence and expertise in this area, and we are, of course, aware of the limitations!

We use AI in various areas; for example, some graphics on our website were created with AI assistance, and sometimes we use it to help draft text. In our day-to-day operations, AI is occasionally used to identify the root causes of system errors. Software development also benefits from selected AI models during development and QA processes.

Despite all the advantages, we have established guardrails and boundaries, backed by the EU AI Act. We are aware of weaknesses such as bias and hallucinations; therefore, all results are reviewed by humans. Above all, we are very mindful of data privacy and security. At Metaways, it is prohibited to input GDPR-relevant data into external AI model providers where it could be used for further training, among other things. We are equally strict regarding copyright-protected material, such as proprietary code.

In short: AI is exciting and opens up many possibilities, but we keep a human eye on things to ensure responsible use.
